The challenge
HTA decisions are public, but they are scattered across agencies, formats and languages. Finding out how assessors treated similar drugs before can take weeks of manual searching. An AI that answers that question has to meet the same evidence standards as a human analyst.
What we did
- 01Owns the platform's methodology and evidence standards: what counts as precedent, how sources are ranked, and how each drafted plan traces back to them.
- 02Wrote the architecture overview, plus a regulatory and HTA source catalog mapping where each agency's decisions can be accessed and how.
- 03Directs the software engineer building the platform within a 10–12 person team, turning health-economic judgement into product requirements.
How the platform works, at a high level
- 01Public HTA decisions
- 02Source catalog
- 03Precedent search
- 04Draft access plan
- 05Analyst review
The outcome
- Searches HTA precedent across roughly six HTA bodies.
- Drafts market access plans for manufacturers and investors.
- Evidence standards set by a health economist from the start, not retrofitted after the build.
